Brooke graduated from Texas A&M University and received her MBA from Southern Methodist University. Prior to starting 1600 Events, Brooke coordinated weddings and events for a large planning firm and worked for several years at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, Texas. She lives in Plano, Texas with her husband, Doug, and their two darling dogs, Hugh and Ronald.
